  As in previous years, we will be accepting donations for the charity raffle which is held during the Pagan Pride Day event in Raleigh, NC! The PPDR Charity Raffle solicits and collects donated goods from attending PPDR vendors, then sells raffle tickets to the attending general public which may be used for a chance to win on any given individual item, ensuring that the ticket buyer is getting a chance to win something they actually want rather than just one random thing out of the entire lot of offerings. This is our only fundraiser each year, with the money raised helping to cover our operating costs for the event.Donating to the charity raffle is completely voluntary, and is not a requirement for vendors. If you would like to donate an item to the raffle, please email me (dodde@cncppd.org) with a brief description of the item or items you wish to donate (generally 100 words or less), an approximate retail value of the goods, and one or two good photos of the donation. I will post the accumulated item descriptions and photos submitted by the vendors to the PPDR website in approximately mid-August. Please remember to bring your donation items to PPDR on the weekend of the event--you can deliver these directly to the raffle tent any time during setup Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. We will also try to send a representative around to remind everyone early during the event, but things are always hectic during setup so it's best to bring your donation around yourself as early as possible.  |
